Pros
lots of fun, staff are colleagues with shared interests. Customers largely are excited to be there or if buying for someone else, are grateful that you can help them. discounts on products is pretty good if you regularly buy those items. ability to work extra shifts at other stores
Cons
low shift availability outside of christmas, entire experience can be made or broken by store/district managers. not a lot of career advancement opportunities. while entire job is sales and there is a large focus on KPI's, no real reward for performing well
