I have the privilege of working with an incredibly talented engineering team. One of the most rewarding aspects of my tenure has been the collaboration with engineers who not only possess a deep technical understanding but are also exceptionally diligent in their approach to problem-solving. They consistently go above and beyond, ensuring that projects are delivered in time without compromising quality. It's clear that they are driven by a genuine passion for the users we build for - teachers, children and governments, and this dedication shows in their willingness to work late nights or weekends when necessary, even though it’s never an expectation placed on them. One of the standout qualities of our engineers is their attention to detail. Whether it's implementing complex design specifications or addressing intricate product requirements, the back-and-forth process is minimal. Their ability to take the UI design handovers and translate them into impressive live versions is commendable. The level of collaboration and mutual respect between the product and engineering teams at EIDU is something that has been invaluable to me. Engineers here are not just technical executors—they are partners in the product development process. They're willing to go on field visits to understand the people we build for and even advocate for solutions! When bugs arise, they are quick to investigate, and unblock each other, all while offering suggestions to improve or optimize features from a technical perspective. Genuinely love working with them writing this is easy 😂 From my experience, the engineering team’s ability to remain user-centered, despite the technical complexities, demonstrates their commitment to building solutions that truly matter. It's rare to work with a team that balances both a love for the technical craft and a deep care for the end-users. EIDU is an accurate definition of a startup! We're fast-paced, which is exciting but can sometimes lead to a sense of urgency that might overwhelm team members, especially when multiple priorities arise at once. For those who thrive on structure and predictability, this might feel a bit intense. But the people you get to interact with make it worth 😍
