Pros
Very high job security, The only requirement is don't be late and pass you work card in time clock in time.
Cons
- Low salary. - The tasks are not challenging. The challenging work goes to subcontractors. - Promotions are politically based, and not performance. - Old work environment, work is only with stationary PCs, where you've 2 of them: one is connected to the work network and not connected to the internet, the second PC is connected to the internet and doesn't have any work application. - Seniors who should be very experienced, are always stay at mid level. There are no real tech leads or principal engineers.
