Pros

If you like to drink a lot (and watch your VP shot gun beer at a Christmas party, or get wasted at Winter Fest), don't mind ambiguity when it comes to career path or guidance or corporate growth, if you like cliques, favoritism and you don't need maternity leave, this is the place for you! There are a lot of smart people to work with, but more BS to put up with from management.

Cons

This is a company run by a bunch of guys who started it because they like team sports and wanted to have that feeling again. This does not lend for great management. This is not a sports team, it's a business, made up of people who have real careers that they care about, and that does not seem to be understood. The cliques and favoritism are rampant and obvious, more obvious in some markets than others. Senior management has no idea of what's going on in the trenches. The turnover rate is climbing. No one in senior management can have a real discussion . The sexism borders on overt. The good ol' boys club is alive and well. People aren't promoted on merit and performance, but rather favortism and a VP pushing hard enough. (do you know anywhere else where you can be kicked off a project AND promoted?) Sr management can be offensive, say whatever they want, and there are no repurcussions. The direction keeps changing but there's no plan. RPL anyone?
