Pros

The ESCATEC group of companies are privately owned. Investing and growing through acquisition, Great diversity and inclusion - can't fault it! Strong portfolio of services and capability within the group.

Cons

Lack of empathy and fearmongering at senior level used to try and instil far east work mentality into EU operations - do as we want or else type of approach. The sites are independent, and budgets are decided purely by site performance. More joined up thinking about investments that benefit the 'wider' organisation would provide greater spending for improvements. Some of the lower revenue generating sites struggle to secure investment as the ROI case when viewed in isolation does not warrant the spend. The sites run extremely lean and staff find themselves stretched. Very challenging to manage workload in a standard working week - overtime is expected / needed. Overtime pay rates are discretionary. Very difficult to meet expectations / excel in a role due to high workload and lack of tools (investment) needed to improve efficiency. See previous comment regarding ROI.
