Pros

They offer a good benefits package, and a wfh office stipend, salary was competitive (for 'non profit' work), easy money

Cons

Soul sucking if you are really motivated to make a positive impact. Impossible to make progress, teams were incredibly segregated with almost no overlap. Very little collaboration.

Pros

ETR has been doing serious reflecting and implementing intentional changes and restructuring over the past couple of years to not only promote equity in our work but also across the company. I feel that leadership are genuinely interested in what staff have to say about how to improve equity, work-life balance, and overall wellbeing at ETR. They've also been responsive to feedback, including improving already wonderful and comprehensive benefits, supporting novel diverse strategic planning, and providing various and interesting ways to engage with colleagues outside of project work (a must when working remotely!). At ETR, I feel that I matter as a person, not just an employee, and I am encouraged to and supported in showing up as my whole self.

Cons

I don't have personal experience with this but have heard from colleagues that the promotion process can be a bit time consuming and some pathways are less clear than others.

Pros

Great location, good people in general

Cons

Some departments are terribly run, lots of micromanagement. It really depends which area you work in.
