Pros

Pros: None observed to be reported.

Cons

Misleading Image Usage: EWR Digital displays images of former staff and contractors on its website as a tactic to create the illusion of being a larger organization than its actual size. False Alumni Claims for Appearances: EWR Digital falsely asserts alumni connections to prestigious companies like Google and NASA, leveraging these claims to appear more reputable, even though these individuals are no longer associated with EWR Digital. Micromanaging CEO Overvalues Self, Underappreciates Team: The CEO's micromanagement style not only reveals a lack of appreciation for the team's contributions but also highlights an overvaluation of their own role within the organization. Ethical Dilemmas Abound: Anticipate numerous instances where you'll confront complex ethical and moral dilemmas, at times navigating both simultaneously.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify a few points for accuracy. EWR Digital has been fortunate to attract and work with highly talented professionals over our 25 years in business — including alumni who have come from organizations such as Google, NASA, the US Army, and other respected companies. Highlighting these backgrounds is not misleading; it reflects the caliber of people who choose to work with us and the professional trajectory our team members often pursue after their time here. Like many agencies, we have at times showcased both current and former team members and collaborators to represent the breadth of our history and the projects we’ve delivered. This practice is common in the industry and is meant to highlight the legacy and impact of our collective work. Our leadership team remains deeply engaged in strategy, client work, and team development — not as micromanagement, but as hands-on involvement that reflects our high standards and clearly defined workflows built around measurable results. EWR Digital is committed to honesty, transparency, and ethical practices. We’re proud of the award-winning SEO and digital marketing work we continue to deliver for clients in Houston and across industries, and we will always strive to uphold the trust placed in us.

Pros

You get to work on real SEO and digital strategy projects, not just busywork. Management actually listens and gives you space to try new ideas. There’s a lot of exposure to AI tools, SEO strategy, and different industries. Good culture. People are helpful, not cutthroat. Everyone really care about the clients and focus on delivering value to their clients, sometimes to a fault honestly.

Cons

The pace here is fast and priorities can shift quickly. The agency is fully remote (a change made after Covid) and adapts well if you know how to use tools like Clickup, GoHighLevel and Slack. They bring in top people for training (we’ve had sessions with folks from Google and industry veterans ) but there’s also an expectation that you’ll keep learning on your own. Documentation and training videos are solid, and if you follow the checklists and take initiative, you’ll do well. It’s a place that rewards adaptability and ownership of the results, which can be exciting for some and overwhelming for others. Not the place for anyone looking to coast, it’s great for people who want to grow. Feel like drinking out of a fire hydrant sometimes, but that’s part of the challenge.
