Pros

Training teaches you the basics. And instructor Gino is a very good guy ! Some people get free assignements for great or not so great units on Streeteasy, the rest nothing, and is left with paying $4,50 per day and per listing for crappy units that barely bring any leads. FYI $135 for a month ! In all fairness this is Streeteasy's fault. Management only believes in big numbers and it doesn't really matter to them how hard you try. "I am here for you" is just a facade. Some listings agents and account managers are shady and keep the listings and deals to themselves. No lead generation system. Get ready to spend a hell lot of money in advertising in order to (maybe) make a decent living. It's a numbers game you need lots of leads and a lot of appointments in order to be closing more than a few deals here and there. Don't let them fool you ! What is being told during your interview is not true the free streeteasy assignment will be given to you only after you will have closed enough apartments. You will be offered an "amazing" Craigslist class by the branch manager in order to teach you how to post listings in the "by owner" section. Takes a while to figure it out and many long nerve-racking hours. Frustration. That being said though once you get the hang of it and post the right type of stuff you kinda get a steady stream of leads. Many problems with keys and access, have had to text the manager for days before getting to be able to schedule a showing ! The problem though is that the units had been rented by other brokerages in the meantime ! Waste of time all the way ! And thus no deals and no money !

Cons

Lies lies lies :-) So many things could be better. Went through months with no Williamsburg inventory. All my leads ended up going elsewhere !
