Pros

The minions that do all the work are friendly and knowledge and are great assets to the company

Cons

The CEO couldn't run a vacuum cleaner on his own let alone a business. The company is losing business and signing new business at a loss. Acquired a company that adds little value to the current product and is a massive drain on cash. The atmosphere is toxic because of the CEO who approves very few raises or bonuses for all the extra work that is dumped on the employees. The CEO treats employees like scum and one day an employee that has the means will bring this matter to the labor commission.

We appreciate all the feedback we receive, even when it is difficult to read. Our compensation, benefits package and workloads are comparable to our industry peers and we strive to create a respectful work environment. Our market pivot promises continued growth with no indications of closing the near future. To the contrary we are hiring!

Pros

free coffee, free Poland springs water, free cokes and sprite, lots of parking in suburban location. Close to lots of Waltham amenities like second-rate chain restaurants, gas stations and strip malls

Cons

Work 60+ hours every week, never get raise or praise, no bonus, benefits are not very good, poor leadership, company lacks vision and direction, and blames everything on the employees - senior management never takes responsibility for the company's many failures - everything is the fault of the employees in their eyes. No training, little opportunity for advancement, no professional development. This company has little value even as a stepping stone or resume builder because of their reputation. The CEO, if he speaks to you at all, will condescend to you and treat you like dirt. Employee retention is abysmal because as soon as people figure out what they got themselves into they leave as quick as they can. The office is usually completely silent because the CEO is prone to throwing temper tantrums and nobody wants to set him off.

Management works had to ensure that perspective employees understand the demands and rewards of working in a a young, startup, environment. Churning (I.e rapidly recruiting and losing staff) costs everyone so we strive for full transparency when hiring.
