Pros

The only real positive thing about this company is most of the employees are good people, and the atmosphere is very laid back. No micro-managing which is a good thing.

Cons

Too many to list. Where do you want to start? No 401k match. No raises. Lots of layoffs, and then when they do hire new employees, some of them don't last more than a month or two. There have been some new hires that quit after the first week. They moved buildings, and moved into a space that was far too big for them, and then they were looking to cut corners and save money. So why weren't the people who analyzed the move and failed to do so properly laid off, opposed to the general employees? And always talking about the potential deal that is going to propel the company to bigger and greater things. They've been feeding the employees that story for years, and they still continue to run in place.

Pros

Great work-life balance, my tenure started off with an egenera that had an extremely positive, high-energy 'take on the world' culture.

Cons

The companies direction was hampered by poor business execution. Some notable successes in DoD and Wall St., but little else. Management refused to work with the channel until the recession hit, they went from 300+ to ~50 employees and went all channel. Their 'all dell / software only' strategy did not go well.
