Employees are really helpful and the senior developers go out of their way to help you out. As an intern, I had a great wholesome learning experience.

The city it is based in isn't the greatest and might be difficult to commute to if you don't have your own travel arrangements.

The work environment is pretty laid back and very flexible. People work from home quite often and timelines are generally very soft. This does provide a good way to get into the medical device field and to network. Once in, you have to take control of how you want to shape your future and take learning into your own hands.

Upper management isn't based in the office so they have very little interaction with the employees, even when they are in the office. This shows a complete lack of respect towards the team and carries a "I'm above you" type mentality. The other reviews on Glassdoor are spot on. The direction of the company changes on any given day and with each new "structural change" comes, "we now have the best team". One must ask himself, how many times does the team have to change over a short period before the "right team" has been selected by those running the company? The tools necessary for getting the job done professionally and of sound quality are lacking or late to arrive, leading to cutting corners and questionable decisions made by the decision makers. Do your homework before considering this as a viable career move: research the management team as well as the owner(s) of the company. Be wary of things said by those you might interview with and look to add substinance to any claims made under your own accord.
