Electronic Environments Response
7yTo our former employee: we're genuinely sorry and saddened to see this, and only wish we'd been able to identify some of the challenges and frustrations you were feeling while you were here. As a small, but 30-year old firm, we know that not everyone's experience working with us can be perfect, but we can always find ways to improve, and we choose to see this feedback as an opportunity to learn and grow.
Addressing a culture of micromanagement is difficult. We do have very high standards; it's the nature of our work and industry. We challenge our team to do their best and despite your experience being a negative one, we do push our more seasoned people to coach and direct those who are struggling to better meet those high standards. Our intention is not to micromanage, but to excel and deliver exceptional, detailed work. If you felt this was done poorly, or was a difficult environment to work in, we apologize. It really is unfortunate to see that a terrific group of team members who are extremely competent, loyal and dedicated to making this firm a great place to work were not able to help alleviate some of your frustrations.
Lastly, it's extremely important to us to clarify that we are very proudly a multicultural firm, made up of intelligent, confident, technical and driven women and men from many diverse backgrounds. Our firm is committed to providing a healthy, safe and supportive work environment for all, across the board. But again, we are sorry for any difficulty you experienced while working here, and we 100% take your feedback seriously and will be reviewing it again in detail internally. Thank you again for your service and we wish you the best in your future.
