      Pros

      Many opportunities to use the latest and greatest tech out there. Strong PMF and tailwinds of being the premier AI provider in the space. Abundance of food/snacks/in office perks since they want you there 24/7.

      Cons

      The negative reviews here are only the tip of the iceberg. There are actually several negative reviews that have been removed somehow, giving the company a higher rating than it should have in reality. Yes, you have extreme ownership here and high performance is expected, however to say that folks are not set up for success is an understatement. Direction changes constantly and leadership seems to value/confide in folks who are there on weekends and late nights. Senior leadership has no prior work experience and it shows. Short term wins are prioritized, causing a deluge of client issues and complaints. The motto of over promise and under deliver is actually espoused by leadership. There is a culture of fear, blame, and toxic competition. Leadership is smart. There's no denying that. But the early stage startup grit that got them to where they are cannot continue, empathy and culture building are not just nice to haves at a company of this size. You can only continue churning through talent and treating folks as expendables for so long before things break down.

      Pros

      Product Market fit is insane. Our buyers intuitively can connect business value to our product and can see the impact without much explaining. Plus the demo has several wow factors with our voiceAI. The company is growing 100%+ YoY.

      Cons

      It takes a lot of work to grow a company at this pace and you have to be really intentional if you want work/life balance. Everyone should know what they are choosing.

      Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews. If you look you'll see management does a clean up job submitting false reviews. That sums up how this place operates - To say that folks are not set up for success is an understatement. I have worked at a few different early stage start-ups and Elise is by far the WORST run company I've seen or ever heard of within my 5 years in Tech industry. Direction and expectations change constantly creating an environment where it's impossible to take accountability. Senior leadership has no prior work experience and it shows. The motto of over promise and under deliver is actually espoused by leadership. There is a culture of fear, blame, and toxic competition and manipulation that is portrayed onto every team. Hence why all the software engineers are quitting. You are treated like an expendable here (in any position) the truth has come out and the company is starting to break down because of it. EliseAI went from being one of the best AI companies to dirt poor with a terribly toxic environment over the last 10 months..... No one expected things to take such a hard turn. I cannot share why or my review would be taken down but just know - this company will not survive 3 years from now. If it's still standing I would be absolutely shocked!
