Pros

Great new hire experience, starting with recruiter! She made me want the job even more. Positive interactions all along the way. Now that I've been working at Emerald for about 6 months, I'm happier every day. I enjoy working with my team as well as our impressive leadership team. Pros are definitely our participation in community outreach programs, small office feel even though we are a larger public company now and company outings. Seems they go the extra mile to make Emerald a great place to work while building a team environment.

Cons

Company communication from CEO would be appreciated more often.

Pros

-Depending on what team you're on, you get a lot of autonomy. (on the flip side, see con- if you're on the wrong team) -Good benefits -Fun events & Travel opportunities

Cons

-People getting laid off left and right all time. One minute you have a team mate and the next they are just gone. -Management is top heavy and operates like a fraternity -If you're on the wrong team every move is watched -Your job is NEVER safe -Imagine with the acquisition that was just announced by Apollo that the reason for layoffs was to become lean before transition. I would hedge bets that this will also continue to be a numbers game and positions are going to be uncertain -Sales plans are always ambiguous and there were even times where the plan wasn't out until several months into the year. Expected to sell over and above but didn't always have a sales plan to follow. It was always changing.
