Stipend The stipend provided by the company is not at all sufficient to live in bangalore. You have to find a PG facility which will cost approximately 6-7k near Koramangala on sharing basis. And if you need to commute, again cost increases. Working hours- Even though the company claims that the employees will have a flexible working hours, you must be present in the office from ten to four. But it is not true that you can come earlier and leave earlier after your working time. Company wants you to stay late at office no matter how earlier you come. Mentality of co-workers A hidden bossism exists in the company. from outside, everyone will be friendlier, but they never help you to find out any solutions to your work. You must find out it in your own way. And there are some useless misleading senior engineers who will give you false advises and mislead you before giving an output. Some senior engineers dont know the basics of engineering and what they do is just crack poor jokes if you try to correct them. There is a custom of providing mentors to interns. Your luck will decide how good is your mentor and it writes your fate. HR department- The real rubbish department of the company. It is just another word for exploiting the employees and pleasing the bosses. They will never ever hear from your side and act autocratically. I have never seen a HR like that in my whole life in the corporate world from startups to MNC. Once they want to talk with you, dont waste your time and energy by telling your side. The decision is already taken. The talk is just a formality.
