Pros

Good job for anyone right out of college or wanting to get some PM experience on the resume. Pay is pretty good ranging from 65k to 90k depending on experience. Fast paced and really enjoy the people that I work with. Plan on spending 3 or 4 years here, learn a few things, do some networking, and then start looking for another job.

Cons

Turn over is astronomical. They make it known that you ARE replaceable. No one seems to be able to stay here for long because they either get fired or get pushed out the door. In 8 years, growing from a 20 person company to a 175 person company, close to 500 people either quit or got fired. A VP was forced to fire an entire service department and then the very next week, that VP got fired. Total lack of diversity. Male to female ratio was about 7:1. in a 175 person company, there were maybe 3 people of non-white background. I consider the work to be "Project Management Lite". You have no control over the budget or costs, primary responsibility is to address change orders and input data into reports. A lot of tasks seem very menial and administrative.

Pros

LOVE the people I get to work with. Everyone is pulling towards the same mission. The work is interesting. Get to meet lots of cool people at lots of cool companies around the country.

Cons

Nothing substantial when it comes to cons. As always there are days that are worse than others, but that's any job anywhere.

Pros

Forward-thinking company and great learning opportunity to build skills. Great opportunities to refine and practice skills. The people assigned to daily tasks are amazing and the opportunity to create long-lasting friendships is rampant.

Cons

Lack of accountability and emotional intelligence within leadership. The entity is very reactionary and doesn't strategize well. Directors are hit or miss with some overtly choosing favorite employees and creating hostility among others.
