Pros

The robots are amazing, it's great to see people's reactions when they meet them. Everyone is super talented and there is always a real encouragement to get hands-on, even the top management help design and build robots.

Cons

The standard growing pains of a tech company trying to scale up to meet unprecedented demand with a lean team means there can be stressful times. The team is growing though, so it will pass, not a bad problem to have.

Pros

I worked for Engineered Arts for 2 years, and did some contracting after I'd left. I much prefer working for small companies and this hit all the buttons - close relationships, loyalty expected and given both ways. Proud of my work there and I still point to them when I want to show people things I've worked on.

Cons

I left during a downturn in business - the difficult side of small companies in a niche market. Pleased to see they recovered and are going from strength to strength, and are ahead of the growing competition as others try to catch up.

Pros

Absolutely world class hardware engineering. I've been lucky enough to work for some really cool companies in my career and count myself lucky to be able to witness the amazing engineering that goes on here at Engineered Arts. The leadership here has high expectations and a concrete vision that they march towards. Does this mean that employees are expected to perform? Yes. This isn't a spot to rest on your laurels. But once you prove your ability there is plenty of freedom, exciting projects and an amazing product to contribute towards. EA builds world class robots.

Cons

Company is currently in a phase of growth, could use a bit more time put into a proper onboarding and training process. What we have is solid but there's room for improvement.
