Pros

Good company for those seeking an entry level support position. 2-week paid vacation. 1 week sick time.

Cons

Everything else!! No Additional Benefits!! No Medical, Dental, 401K, No paid certifications/education. Atmosphere is very chaotic. Management is inexperienced in the role of a manager (No training what so ever). CEO can be erratic at times. No business plan to develop the business.

Thank you for your feedback. We wanted to keep you on our team as you had shown great potential during your first few months on the job. It takes time and effort for a support tech to master the software they are supporting and understand how to best help its users. You were building experience and making great progress in your support role. Unfortunately, you and your support manager could not address certain performance issues. We tried our best to make things work, but in the end you resigned. That was a great disappointment to us. We are sorry it did not work out and wish you well in your career. Since your departure, our growing company is now offering medical benefits, a 401K, as well as team building and professional development opportunities.

Pros

Engineerica is a great company in a lot of respects. The work is engaging, the compensation is good, my coworkers are very friendly, plus I'm given the independence to choose how to pursue the goals I'm given. That sort of freedom is definitely more my style as opposed to the more micro-managey, borders and walls style of employment you'll find at other places. I'll also add that the people we get to work with are wonderful. Engineerica largely deals with the Higher Education and Events industries, which are apparently filled with the nicest human beings around. Love it!

Cons

The role is in person. While I actually prefer that, I do know that some people like working remotely.

Pros

- One hour lunch break.

Cons

- Family-run company with no clear structure or accountability. - Micromanagement is rampant, with no trust in employees that are not family. - CEO consistently blames staff for company issues instead of reflecting on internal problems. - Lack of teamwork and respect; you’re made to feel like you’re not valued. - Compensation is extremely low, barely enough to cover basic expenses but requires a degree. - Overall toxic work culture with an unprofessional CEO who is rude and dismissive.
