I am a new employee at ESI, having worked 20+ at 2 large companies in the area, and am both delighted and encouraged by ESi's genuine interest in making a difference, not just in their bottom line or profit margins, but to their employees lives and community programs. ESI provides something that has been practically eliminated by other technical companies in the area.... COMP TIME. You can work extra hours over the year and bank them to use as vacation etc.. something so simple but makes a huge difference to us, as employees, and our families. ESI offers a pet adoption fee reimbursement, provides a generous number of leave days, that is provided to the employee on their FIRST day of work, generous holiday bonuses, a yearly Make-a-Wish donation that supports the Make-A-Wish foundation but also provides a stipend to support a lucky employee so that they can get a wish fulfilled .. again these benefits do not add to their bottom line but to the work/life balance for each employee. There are many other ways that ESI supports each one of us but these stand out as making a huge difference to me. Regarding their community support, ESI supports many charities where we, ESI employees, participate together to raise moneys and awareness of the need for financial assistance to support a cure or provide public awareness and information. ESI's support of the community was mentioned as an integral part of what ESI strives to provide, during my initial interview with ESI. ESI is a small company and I believe I am going to love working here!
