Pros

It’s better than working fast food. Some good colleagues. May get some flexibility to work from home. Nothing else good to say.

Cons

Massively disorganized and unstable. This company regularly fails to meet their own deadlines and meet their obligations. Understaffed due to chronic employee retention problems.

Pros

Great team, awesome people to work with on the client side as well. Flexible schedule, easy going climate, and very easy to talk to leadership about issues, plans, etc. Great place to learn because of all the customers and different ways they use our services. Full medical and dental which is extremely rare for a small company of 15 people. Feel the team is very honest and helpful with each other, and its nice to work with people I consider friends.

Cons

Past difficulties collecting payments from clients and meeting financial obligations on time. in some cases payroll was delayed by a few days on a coupe instances in the past 3 years but always communicated with team and compensated for any late fees, etc. Difficulty hiring in good qualified people is a problem because of competition from other companies. Several openings on the team that are unfilled.

Pros

Highlights: - Not one, but two Apple Computers; MacBook Pro and Mac Mini; in my case I use the Mac Mini as my testing machine. - Depending on the client, you're either working from home or working at a client's office - Flexible schedule - Collaboration between engineers is encouraged because of the nature of our business model. If you're not onsite at a client's office, you'll be spending a lot of time on video/phone calls for meetings. - Being an Atlassian Platinum Partner, our client work typically consists of migrations/consolidations/upgrades of Atlassian instances or client support.

Cons

Being a small team has its advantages and disadvantages. I joined at a time where revenue was stable, but little things have been detrimental to morale and team stability. Notable lowlights include: - The payroll system we were previously on was terrible. To be fair, our new payroll system is 1000 times better. - Documentation on procedures have been a bit scattered, so anyone new to client engagements would be learning on the fly. - Get-togethers between employees is few and far-between unless 2 or more are assigned at an onsite client.
