Dear Former Employee, thanks for the constructive feedback regarding your experience with our company. I appreciate your recognition of the quality of the equipment and tools provided to our employees in the field.
Micro-management – The services we provide are comprised of many different tasks that are all essential to performing the service correctly for our customers. We are a quality-driven company, and the quality of our work is what has built our reputation. Consequently, we do have a very comprehensive quality control program to ensure that every crew is delivering a consistently high-quality service for our customers. The crews that achieve the required QC scores are rewarded for their work. The crews that don’t achieve the required QC scores will not continue to represent EquipPM. I am proud to say that our crews take tremendous pride in their work and consistently achieve the high standard of quality expected from management and our customers.
Trust & Respect – In order to run our business effectively, it is imperative that trust and respect exist amongst our team members. From our perspective, every crew member is entrusted to operate and protect our equipment and our customers’ equipment while in the field. In all, each crew manages several hundred million dollars of equipment for our customers. Further, the vast majority of services performed are under the supervision of our crew chiefs, not by anyone in upper management. Consequently, we have a tremendous amount of trust for our employees and respect for their capabilities in the field.
Compensation – EquipPM pays its employees a weekly draw and a commission based on production and quality, but the numbers in the post above are not accurate under our current pay structure. We have developed our pay structure over time to recruit and retain the best talent possible. Each employee is provided a commission payout sheet that shows exactly what was earned for each individual service performed. The commission is not a subjective decision by management; rather it is an objective fee-for-service calculation. Sometimes, we may elect to pay certain top performers a discretionary bonus on top of their earned commission for a job well done. The discretionary bonus would be subjective and based on number of factors including: leadership, customer feedback, quality, and effort.
