Pros

Lots of creative people work here...briefly. (They then move to a different company and do great things) Upper management is nice and is generally available to help Never a shortage of work to do, its a good place to learn to be efficient If you like poker, this is a good place. There are only 10-12 people that actually like card games, the rest of us play so we don't get berated by the owner

Cons

Owner's fragile ego is only assuaged by being condescending to everyone, even others on his leadership team. No accounting department, we get calls constantly about over-billing our clients We're really bad at utilizing technology internally We only ever get new clients by absorbing other smaller MSPs. Those clients quickly figure out how bad we operate, and they go somewhere else. They often take our good people with them.

Pros

Management mostly leaves you alone as long as you do your work. Hybrid work from home, but that is slowly getting gutted by a push to Return to Office initiatives.

Cons

25-30% lower wages than industry standard, Abuse of salaried employees with a 24x7 on-call rotation shift every month with zero compensation. I have been working here for 4 years without a review, bonus, cost of living raise. My salary is $30k less than industry standard, and $10k less than positions 3 levels below mine. We have lost 6 people in the last year in our division and the work they did gets piled onto those of us that are left, with no plans by management to replace the employees. Every time any of this is brought up, we are told we are in a "Wage and Hiring Freeze", meanwhile Ergos has bought at least 10+ MSP companies in the last two years to increase their client base because "Organic Growth" is overshadowed by greed. After the clients are acquired, the staff is gutted and the work is once again piled onto the remaining employees. Management absorbed a company with 20+ employees and 32 clients, then fired all but one employee, increasing our already unbearable workload, and we are given told we just have to deal with it.
