Pros
Many people whine about the processes and overhead required to get things done. In actuality, the processes work if you take 5 minutes to learn them and adapt them to your needs. Benefits and days off are very good. The official, global corporate language is American English, which is very convenient for North American employees.
Cons
Finding the proper contacts within the company can be daunting to impossible. The Broadband Access product vision is short-sighted and based on ego rather than market-winning solutions. As with many very large companies, the decision making process can get gummed up with too many committees and can too easily be blocked by those with a contrary agenda.
