Pros

They have snacks and coffee. But they ask for money for the snacks once a week.

Cons

Quite toxic environment and lowballing salaries. They advertise “performance bonus” in the job ads but it’s not your personal performance but the “performance” (raw revenue) of the project that you are working on. I worked with some high performing people who did not a get a single bonus for years. There is absolutely no diversity, not even trying to promoting it. It’s a good place to work if you have bo other choice but starve.

Pros

Generally great people working in there. Have lots of friends from there still after i left.

Cons

Game leads don't have proper experience in developing games. A lot of their ideas are copied from other games and generally don't do well. In addition due to the reasons above upper management of projects put unrealistic expectations on teams which result in big tension over all in within the company.

Pros

Very nice office. Free lunch and snacks. Some great folks in HR.

Cons

Dreamers beware: the company's MO is making as many crude prototypes as humanly possible and seeing what sticks. It's not about quality but quantity. The fast food of game dev. Not everyone will like that. But I guess it works for them. Experienced developers, beware: there's a surprisingly deep lack of technical expertise, and this is NOT a minor issue (it varies from team to team, though). Despite that, they do game dev lectures/masterclasses. The teamwork has a somewhat "cultish" taste to it. The company's CEO has a rather weird thing for the Agile. Training, mandatory certificates (which he signs himself), lots and lots of words about the methodology, despite only the most primitive aspects of it being employed. One of the company's "words of wisdom" is "Stay casual" which feels very much forced. There are other "things". Can't say anything seriously bad about the company, but it's hard to recommend it both for newbies and experienced developers/artists. Unexperienced folks will pick up bad habits, and experienced ones will get closer to a heart attack. The more thick-skinned folks might try it just for the experience.
