Cons
Never in my career have I seen a more mismanaged company, that rewards ineptitude, bullying, and toxic behavior.
Evercam is a fully remote company, with clandestine leadership driven by the most unprofessional CEO and his inexperienced circle of leadership, who only have survived by always agreeing with him, being his buddies, or doing his dirty work. The toxic culture is visibly nurtured, resulting in an extremely oppressive working environment. There is very little regard to the welfare of the employees.
It's widely accepted to regularly contact employees outside of their working hours on social networking apps making aggressive demands. HR complaints are completely ignored, and if you speak out against the unacceptable behavior, you'll find yourself walked out within the week. It is life sucking and difficult to thrive or grow there unless you are part of the mainstream demographic.
I’ve witnessed regular unfair bias towards marginalized groups and individuals and have seen first hand favoritism and preferential treatment widely practiced. 70% of the workforce are based from low cost of living countries and hold no influence in any company decision making. The CEO almost brags about his cheap employees and treats them like the are disposable and lucky to even have a chance to work there.
Run, don't walk, away from working or doing business with Evercam.
