Pros

Possibility to report some scans remotely with a small salary top up and max flexibility.

Cons

Poor organisation and suboptimal equipment. Obliged to look into a lap top with multiple overlapping Windows. Only One medium size screen to report. Microphone and voice recognition system not working. After 6 months reports were typed. Often MPR not working. No support despite requested improvement. Chased to report on call deploid on the list when 2 minutes TAT left. Often clinical notes not fitting with imaging finding. No peer help despite formal second opinion tool. Some friendly admin with whom to chat sometimes. Working isolated with zero team working. Very easy to oversee things . Blamed when something wrong come up.

Pros

Reasonably good workplace with remote working option. Management quite supportive, though there can be plenty of pressure, overall it's a decent workplace with pretty good colleagues.

Cons

Difficult to move within the company and no growth opportunities. They also sign you 2-3 months notice period meaning you cannot find alternative jobs. Signing this notice periods puts you in unfavourable career prospect.

Pros

A fair bit to learn something new

Cons

Management has no direction and focus on the irrelevant issues. Tall poppy syndrome is prevalent in the organisation especially some who have been there many years.
