(Although be careful since they'll take work from you like you're an industry pro) * They'll promote anyone and won't need any proof that he's actually good. This is a good opportunity to "look busy and do nothing" and kiss CTO's feet to get some quick promotions * They will pay you like anything. You can literally have a 200k job and do nothing all day

* A CTO that micromanages every aspect of your work even if your work has nothing to do with his line e.g. marketing * An HR that will always demand respect even in a casual scenario and will make your life hell if you talk to him in a small disrespectful way. * The CTO will judge you on things that aren't even in your JD, e.g. a software dev will be getting evaluated for this payraise on the basis of Photoshop... * Management listens to other people and is influenced very easily. E.g. They will not raise your pay even if you're in marketing if the lead AI dev convinced them that you didn't do any good.
