Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

They promise you will get a company car and there's a dozen people on the waiting list! They tell you you get paid to/from the office for company meetings then they tell you after a month you only get paid one way, then they tell you a month later you don't get paid at all! Your census drops and you lose your medical benefits. You tell management about clinicians you have to work with and they are rude and nasty and patients complain to you about them and they do NOTHING about it ! They ignore your emails frequently. Pay seems decent until you spend extra time making phone calls to doctors, pharmacies, the office, DME companies and charting for hours when you get home and you get paid PER TREATMENT and are not compensated for any of those other things. They threaten staff that they can't see any patients until you extend patients that no longer need skilled care because the patient threatens to call the State on them then they never call you back for work. They keep patients on skilled care even though they do not need it anymore and they are DRIVING their car and going to casinos just because the company wants to make $$$. They bribe their employees with gift cards to get their patients to give them good reviews on Yelp. Very Unethical and Shady company.

This is Angela Sehr, the owner of Advanced Home Health and Hospice. it is unfortunate that you were unhappy. I always have an open door policy and we take employee feedbacks very seriously. Just want to clarify a few points. #1. We do not promise company cars. The cars are assigned as first come first serve; however, we have always been able to accommodate clinicians before or right after 90 days employment. #2. We are known in the community as an ethical and professional business. That is the very reason our company grew from zero to be one of the largest agency in the nation in less than 10 years. Our growth speaks volumes. #3. Our pay system is very generous and fair. We allocate more than sufficient time to each visit to include all time spent on driving, charting and phone contacts with other team members. Plus, we pay extra visit time and driving time if unforeseen circumstances arises. During our recent employee survey, 100% employees are happy with their pay and the pay structure. Thank you for your time with us and I sincerely wish you all the best.

Pros

- Relaxed, laid-back day-to-day environment. - Minimal micromanagement. - Staff-level colleagues were generally supportive and easy to work with. - Decent place to gain short-term experience in the healthcare industry

Cons

- Compensation was below market compared to similar roles in the industry. - A raise was promised upon hire after meeting performance expectations, but that commitment was never fulfilled. Instead, I was laid off after more than a year with the company. - High turnover rate, particularly at the CFO and Controller levels, leading to instability and constant shifts in direction. - Limited growth opportunities despite verbal assurances during recruitment. - Not an ideal company for someone seeking stability or long-term career development.
