Pros

Meet other professionals in your field.

Cons

Company made a lackluster effort to provide sources that their Principals could utilize to fill their funnels with paying clients. These sources were a complete joke and I was never able to land one paying client. The owner agreed to defer the minimum monthly dues to ExecHQ until after I was able to obtain a paying client and then renigged on his word and demanded payment for all months to date while promising to give me free service to their group that assisted the Principals find clients for a few months. I paid my bill and I never received any assistance from their so-called lead generators. Also, don't count on other Principals to send work your way because I witnessed on more than one occasion that if the other Principals didn't know you and your work personally, they would not recommend you to a client. This fact wipes out any possible benefit of being associated with ExecHQ. If you are looking for Consulting gigs, keep looking. This company is a waste of time and money.

ExecHQ Response
4y
ExecHQ does not have and has never had full-time employees in the New York City area. This appears to be one of our former consultants in that area. As this individual mentions in the comments, as the CEO at ExecHQ, I got involved to help in this situation. We regularly try to help our executive advisors in many ways, but the bottom line is that our executive advisors have to take responsibility for lead generation. ExecHQ helps our executives get clients through training, introductions to our 60+ Strategic Alliance Partner firms, including being partners in an Alliance formed by the 5th largest CPA firm in the world, and by leads that come in from a variety of sources. The pandemic made it difficult for our executives to get clients as, like most of the rest of the world, it severely impacted most businesses. If this individual wants to blame me, this is where the buck stops and I accept responsibility; however I disagree with most of the things that the individual claims that we never did, or that we failed to do. My request of this individual is: reach out to me by email, I would be happy to talk with you and resolve whatever lingering issue is troubling you. In our business model, our executives retain 97% of the revenues from clients, and ExecHQ keeps 3% of revenues, subject to a minimum annual amount.
