Pros
- Doctors are lovely - can add skills to your resume because you will be doing everything … - learn a few medical things you may not have known before -there may be better culture and systems in the future - The clients are sometimes interesting and mostly very polite
Cons
- work 6 jobs for the low price of one! You will be a customer service rep, a medical administrator, a sales rep, a kitchen hand, a cook and a waitress. You will be expected to spend your time making clients breakfast/lunch, serving & cleaning up after them as well as completing medical administrative tasks that require attention and expected to make your sales calls. - unfortunately voicing concerns about lack of support, the job tasks and solutions to draw on your strengths are responded to by smart remarks and advice that “it is your job” and thus no extra support is offered and your ideas are not appreciated. - not one social event in 8 months, no culture - very demotivating environment due to lack of incentives, wage, lack of support -it is not a big corporation, it is more like a small family style business, there has been no seperate HR department during my time here.
