Italian leadership very stuck in their ways so if you're not an Italian man, they will not listen to you. Some people haven been at the company for 20+ years in VERY different roles but aren't specialized in any of them, yet they are valued much more highly than newer hires who are experienced and specialized. CEO and CTO are lateral in the org chart (!!), but CTO (co-founder) is the real boss and overrules CEO often. Unless the CTO has approved something, consider it not approved. CTO is very protective of technology and roadmap, not sharing details with sales, marketing, or even the product team sometimes. No clarity on release dates.
