Pros
The main factor that made my internship at Integis outstanding was the encouragement of a "culture of ownership" in the company. Since day one, every team member asked me to scrutinise their function and operations. At the conclusion of my internship I was able to present my findings and recommendations directly to the firm's partners - something very few interns can say. The atmosphere is fantastic and everyone there wants to see you succeed throughout the internship and after. They care about you as a human being, as a friend almost, and not as an intern that is doing the grunt work. Great experience, would recommend it to anyone wishing to apply.
Cons
If you see yourself as a "big city" person that seeks to work incessantly in a New York office then this internship program is not for you. Cleveland (the firm's HQ) is truly a friendly city, were relationships come first over your career advancement. I was not a big city person and found that I fit quite nicely in the city.
