Pros
Minimal hierarchy enables for relatively quick decision making process.
Cons
Typically, those decisions are the wrong ones. Senior Management in most cases is out of their depth in running a business. They hold on to antiquated thinking, obsolete business technology, and lack a general understanding of best practices and an unwillingness to change. Not a place to work if you want to hone your business skills in an innovative and strategic minded environment.
