Pros

Remote work is allowed (sometimes, they're also taking that away now), to encourage the "culture".

Cons

- Insane bureaucracy - Minimal transparency -Diversity department consisting of white people - No benefits - Full-time employees get a new "fancy" title but no raise - No pensions for part-time or full-time employees - Top management consisting of white men only

Pros

Terrific colleagues and a product/service that actually makes the world a better place. The US office is like a start-up within the company with the super power of having the support of our very established team in Europe. If you like start-ups, solving fun problems, and working with kind, smart people, Famly is a great place to work.

Cons

There isn't an instruction manual for many of the problems we're working to solve, so you need to be the type of person who likes to get their hands dirty, experiment, and figure things out for yourself (with the help of teammates who are also figuring it out alongside you).

Pros

A good product, and some good and smart people within the company, but apart from that, it’s hard to note anything else.

Cons

Awful management, and I mean really awful. I’ve worked at multiple companies throughout my career, and finding a company whose management team is well regarded by all employees is impossible. However, Famly’s management team really are something that shouldn’t be mirrored at other companies. I could produce an infinite list, but the lack of transparency, the two faced approached to communicating with co-workers, or the big brother approach I.e lack of trust in less senior colleagues are just some of the things I’d note make the place a really toxic environment. What’s more, there’s the constant narrative of management valuing feedback, but then being incredibly hostile when feedback is indeed given, to extent where there have been some team members let go, not because of performance issues, but due to sticking their head above the parapet and challenging management’s decisions too often.
