Pros
I've been at Farewill for about a month now. From interviewing to onboarding (mostly remotely due to covid restrictions), it's been a refreshingly caring and thoughtful experience. Many businesses, especially young start-up ones, have a polished brand image and shout about their values but it can feel all for show. At Farewill I've been blown away by how they work and share information throughout the business. It's been the best onboarding I've ever experienced and makes me feel confident for a fulfilling (and fun!) future working here. I don't mean to sound overly gushing, but from my experience such values are rarely genuinely felt in the workplace. Plus, everyone I've met has cared deeply about their work, been great at it and dedicated to the company mission.
Cons
None so far! Potentially someone not from a start up background might find the usual things tricky - fast changes, stretching across different work areas etc - but also, that's one of the most fun things about working for a young business in my opinion.
