Pros

- Great atmosphere and good coworkers - Great deal of independence and trust: if you perform well, management trusts you to do your thing without micromanaging - broad range of activities -challenging project management work - good feedback system in place: positive and negative performance issues are continuously discussed - great work/life balance, hardly any overtime - great locations in the center of cities - flexibility with regards to HR, IT and personal needs - bonus scheme (NB: Your mileage may vary, since each country team is individually managed)

Cons

- Competitive salary for the language industry, but unfortunately the language industry does not pay premium rates to employees - limited growth possibilities outside of PM work (again, something that's common in the language industry) - limited perks outside of bonus scheme (again, your mileage may vary)

Pros

- Colleagues are very friendly and helpful - New office, with good air and light - "Frustration free" it-systems - Office is close to train station - Fun business (Fast paced translation trading and sales to B2B/B2C.) - 4 day week can be possible - Home Log-in is easy an possible (but not necessarily paid)

Cons

- What you see is not what you get (You might be promised sales commissions/travel cost allowance etc. in the job interview, but those do not necessarily come back on the actual contract that you get.) - The first contract is an agency contract with no end date and it can be terminate on the spot (They can and do fire people quickly based on "you are no match to us"-feeling) - Workload fluctuates (Customer contacts in a small team fluctuate a lot. Job quantity can double or triple depending on the weekday and the nr. of reps available.) - Little reciprocity (The management expects high quality and fast pace, independently of the workload or the complexity of the cases at hand.) - No structured feedback process for the newcomers (no scheduled 1 to 1 meetings/"swim or sink mentality") - Very repetitive callcenter-style job

Dear former employee. We did not employ you ourselves, you were employed by a staffing agency. We asked them for temp employees and made it clear to them that our bonus system only applies to employees that have received a permanent contract from ourselves. It is our goal to give new employees such a contract as soon as the staffing agency allows it. My suggestion is that you move your complaint to the staffing agency since we have never been in a formal working relationship.
