Best Employer in Belfast - Associate FinTrU Employee Review

Having come from a large financial services institution in Belfast I was very worried about moving from a huge global employer to a younger, smaller organisation. I debated heavily around my decision and now I reflect on this I had nothing to be worried about. I have gone from being just a number to being part of an exciting company that really care about their employees and value their contribution. The generosity I have seen since joining has taken me by surprise such as the company party which was an epic black-tie event and fully funded by management. Access to relevant training has been a huge benefit of moving to FinTrU and employees are encouraged to study for relevant qualifications which the company support financially. The salaries offered are very good compared to competitors and the benefits package has just been overhauled and I am so impressed with the new benefits package. The management team are approachable including the executive directors and even the CEO. Instead of being locked away in an office they are regularly available and willing to talk with all employees. The clients are Tier 1 banks and so there is great opportunities to work with very senior people across a number of banks. There is a clear path to promotion and guidelines that state what you need to do to get there. Within most organisations it can take years to be promoted but here you can be considered much sooner. This makes the role much more attractive for anyone that is ambitious and wants to do well.
