Pros

When you work in a summer camp, you meet other members of staff that are on your same boat and you can share nice moments with them and make friends. Can't think about any other pros of working for this company.

Cons

All summer camp companies make you work really hard, but here they don't hire enough staff and expect you to work from 7am to 2am everyday. The company is very disorganized and they don't care about people they employ. I saw all kind of things happening, attractions or buses not booked by the head office, problems with the canteen, classrooms with more students than usual, rude staff, salary paid late and also no training given. Overall a very bad experience, would never work there again.

Pros

For someone who has never worked abroad before, accepting a position for a student accommodation agency in London was new to me. I didn’t necessarily know what to except. After my brief but impactful experience, I can confidently say that working at Find Digs exceeded all of prior expectations I had. There was a familial aspect that this company had that i had never witnessed before. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that their co-workers were doing okay. My co-workers always had a smile on their face and were always so eager to help others. I learned a lot in a very short time from my boss, Alia, along with all of my other co-workers. I was able to work on the company’s social media pages. I was given free range to do whatever I wanted. I appreciate that I was given the ability to do so. I realized in that time that planning out social media is what I want to do in the future. I would have never found this interest if not for Find Digs. I would recommend working for Find Digs to anyone that is interested in working in their field. It was a great experience and taught me so much.

Cons

Next to a crowded street, however, new location is in a much quieter area.

Pros

The accommodation and meals are paid for, and this job was in London so it was nice to be in the capital.

Cons

Unprofessional and disorganised management; the boss of the company was cold and manipulative and made severely unprofessional and racist comments in the office. I was forced to work 15 hour days in order to complete tasks, with no breaks except to eat. The pay was per week and the expected hours in a week was atrocious. We were also not DBS checked when we were working with young children, and the management called this 'a change in the law'. All activities were left to a three person team, which caused unhealthy stress and were unmanageable. A terrible atmosphere to work in, the workers often being scapegoated for the lack of organisation by management. Do not work here!
