As part of the Financial Analyst Program, I worked on the Financial Markets Experience Program and the Investment Banking Experience Program. 1. On the Financial Markets (FM) part, learned about portfolio management and got to know how I can manage my portfolio on live BSE 500 feed 2. Conducted sectoral and company-specific research on the Indian economy 3. Learned about both fundamental and technical analysis as ways of stock-picking 4. On the Investment Banking (IB) part, learned about conducting founder profiling, conducting customer acquisition cost and customer lifetime value-based modeling, setting up of a private equity fund and exit strategies provided by private equity funds. 5. The mentoring provided by the Finlatics team is very responsive, and I had my queries cleared quite fast and promptly. 6. Attended their live sessions, which were pretty interesting, and had a wonderful experience with them as well 7. I came into this program without any prior domain knowledge or experience in finance, and the training, mentoring, live sessions, and tasks assigned were really helpful in helping me gain hands-on experience and knowledge in finance.
