Pros

Some people were pretty nice!

Cons

This is by far the most sexist and uncomfortable place I’ve ever worked. I got harrassed by my boss, who decided to comment on my personal appearances. I have frizzier hair, not in professional or out of control but I have baby hairs that get frizzy. He told my trainer to tell ME, that I needed to straiten my hair because it was “frizzy and unprofessional”. Then I straightened it an he came up to me and said “I really like your hair today” this was a bald made who is in his 40s while I’m barely 20. Then I had to take time off for family issues, I came back to work, kind of emotional. He proceeded to tell me how he gave me time off out of the “kindness of his heart”. But then used that as leverage to manipulate me? He constantly got upset when we took time off or called out. I think this man actually showed up to work only once a week. The girl that trained me peed in a cup, put it on the only desk in the office and took a pregnancy test. I was told not to think about my personal life at work and to focus solely on my sales. It’s a terrible thing to not be able to have a bad day and to stand around doing nothing. I was encouraged to quite literally harass customers and stood by and had to watch your sales people stare down younger women and comment on their bodies. Fix your work environment, fire people who are disrespectful to your employees. It’s not okay.

Pros

-Make usually $1200 from walk ins account openings -Great for building a year experience for resume -no experience required at all -will make you extroverted if you already are and make you have to work for your commission if your manager is very pushy with it -$15.25/hr starting out fresh -you WILL move up to senior bank teller in less than 3-6months if you are up front persistent with your manager

Cons

-Very sales goal oriented you RARLEY get to stay in the front teller line to chat, you have to move to the front and stand there since the managers don’t like when you sit behind the teller line and just all gather and talk (unless your manager is not there and the assistant manager is very chill) -$15.25 pay ($1,070 no weekly for me with very little commissions) -you have to sell sell sell, walk around in Walmart and market to people even when you wanna stay in the back of the teller line -you can move up takes maybe less than a year assistant manager pays !$19 I believe -
