Pros
Running water, electricity, oxygen, heat in the cold months and air in the hot ones.
Cons
Very toxic/hostile work environment. After you're hired, your schedule will be changed to the total opposite that was initially agreed upon. Horrible salary. Your degree and blood, sweat and tears sacrificed getting an education means nothing there. I was the ONLY registered or certified medical assistant there and was paid less than a 19 year old child fresh out of high school when I've been doing this for 10 years. The owners son work there and is not held accountable to wear the company uniform that if you do not wear, you will be written up. He also comes in hours late with no reprimand. Workload is obviously unfair. A certain group of people are treated with less respect and dignity than others. I witnessed some pretty harsh verbiage being used when referring to certain people as well. One of the owners is a state delegate in which in my personal opinion, politics and healthcare do NOT mix. The higher up's don't have an empathetic bone in their bodies! Oh and, you will not be doing what you went to school for...you will be an over worked, underpaid, COVID SWABBER. All that matters to this place is how man y people they can swab a day because that's what pays! The line for testing is usually wrapped around the building from 7am-8pm. Most days I worked, I didn't even have time to take a break. They also don't keep drinking water on hand for employees. I was hauling a gallon of water to work on a daily basis or buying cases and not being thanked nor reimbursed.
