Pros

1 - This was one of the best startups of Pune. And now its no longer a startup but still has ideology of being startup. Salary is always on time. 2 - You will have freedom to work on anything literally you can say to any senior that you want to work on something new and next day you will be learning or working. Frontend, Backend, Deployment, Cloud and various new technologies you will touch everything. 3 - Though majority of people don't know about the company I am talking about Brainbees Solutions Pvt. Ltd. which is software development arm of Firstcry but the people who about company holds got respect against this company. 4 - Work culture is nice. HR are always helpful and smiling. Great job Manju👍

Cons

1. You will be tempted to the outside glitter of the IT companies because you will be ready to apply for any of the opening in MNCs. I am sure you'll succumb to it as many of the employees leave but then your learning stops there. I would suggest don't go for the money if you can survive for being paid less for couple of years. 2. Company is growing and having investment from SoftBank but the increments are really marginal which is the main reason employee leave as soon as they see better package even though knowing that the FirstCry has environment for growing

Pros

Salary gets credited on time.

Cons

Salary hikes are quite low, and the organizational hierarchy is very rigid, making direct communication with senior leadership difficult. Support from management is inconsistent, as some managers do not actively guide or support their teams. The work pressure is extremely high, which often results in many new joiners leaving within a few months to a year. Employee retention appears to be a challenge, with most long-term employees being part of higher management. Despite employees putting in their best efforts, the pressure to constantly deliver remains intense, with very little appreciation or recognition for hard work. Promotions also seem to be influenced more by favoritism than merit, which negatively impacts employee morale. Overall, the company culture lacks transparency, strong ethical values, and a healthy work environment.
