Thank you for your review. Although we are not aware of any marketing managers who were made redundant 6 weeks before our company was put into administration nor were any marketing managers selected for redundancy pre-covid, I’m still incredibly saddened to read your review. When COVID-19 hit on 13 March 2020 our revenue dropped by 95% overnight. As a bootstrapped startup (funded by the founders personal money) we had no investors to turn to in this crisis. Despite the unprecedented circumstances we did not make staff redundant immediately and instead opted for the furlough scheme while we tirelessly fundraised for six months to try to save the business. We kept staff well informed of the funding situation at every company meeting and although we were not in a position to be generous, I’m proud that all staff received their contractual notice period and had time to figure out their next steps. Having just closed a Series A from investors with deep pockets, who fully back our vision, we are very proud to announce we have rehired (and promoted) a number of ex-staff who were delighted to return and 98% of our partners are coming with us on our new journey. It was a very complex time in our business and I'm sorry you felt duped. I can promise you it was quite the opposite.
