Pros

- One thing that makes me feel lucky to work with this team is the level of trust invested in the members. There isn't anything else you need to worry about other than delivering great work and expertise in your domain. No gossips, no arbitrary rules, no micro-management, you make your own call on what you do and how you do it. - Team members so far are all top-notch competent people, esp. the engineers. Hope the standard won't be lowered in future. - Expected excellence and urgency. This is the exact mentality any startup or anyone who wants to start one or work with one should equip themselves with. - Adequate benefits and compensation.

Cons

- Can use improvement in the kitchen area and overall facilities/equipments. - Seems short of warmth(emotion, not temperature) overall but that maybe for the small size team. - Need more team building sessions.

Pros

Working at Flow, you get the sense that you're part of something big. The work you do matters, is appreciated, and has a tangible impact on the business. There's an energy among the staff that rings of commitment, enthusiasm, and focus on shared goals. The co-founders have a clear direction, thrive on feedback, and always take the time express appreciation for hard work. They genuinely stand behind the mindset of each staffer acting like an owner.

Cons

Hitting your groove in your role takes time and patience. On the tech side: there's much to learn about the cloud first microservices architecture. It's both simple and complex at the same time. Re the business: Flow's cross-border e-commerce offering is unique with much to consider in the compliance and privacy spaces.

Pros

The place would have potential if most of their full-time employees weren’t full-on narcissists and actually focused on working on the product they have and growing the company. They have a solid product and that’s it.

Cons

You’ll find yourself constantly confused as to who to “report to”. Both the CEO and the CTO are hardly ever available so you’ll find out soon enough that their full-time staff and pretty much anyone whose been there for more than a year will boss you around on their behalf. But the CEO and CTO are so horrible at their jobs as employers, they will trust their judgement instead of understanding and working with new hires. There’s virtually no culture. People have to show up to work for there to be a culture. The office is empty on most days. Zero room for growth. No reason to stay for a company that is resistant to change. Continually looking for funding and constantly firing employees - not a coincidence. There’s not a single person you can trust in this place. Employees blame each other- no collaboration. Benefits are horrible. The commute from the city to Hoboken is not worth it for their dingy office building. No leadership. The CEO is always saying there’s a high employee turnover rate yet they are the ones firing people and the rest of the people that quit were probably sick of the marketing and legal department’s attitude as well the attitudes of the engineers. The whole company is like 30 people and not a single person is pleasant to work with.
