Pros

Fluent has great benefits and offers a good work/life balance.

Cons

The decisions made by company executives haven’t created success in the past 3 years, and their employees are the ones paying for it. Layoffs are typical pretty much every year when not meeting market expectations. Upper management is more or less a boys club filled with guys that have been friends since college. Bottom line is they will never face the consequences of their decisions even when they are at fault for the company falling short. I can promise that at least one member of the inner circle of upper management is directly responsible for losing the company boatloads of money, but only the people under him get laid off or demoted because he’s “one of the guys”. While the social scene can be fun (tons of events, open bars, parties, etc.) the dynamic in the office can have an almost high school-like feel to it with a cliquey and toxic social hierarchy.

Pros

I have an incredible team. Working with smart caring people can make the hardest day easier. I'm grateful to work for an organization that values their people. While results driven, this organization also gives back to local communities which is important to me.

Cons

Continue to hold ourselves to a higher standard. We should always be striving for individual and organizational growth and improvement.

Pros

Hybrid structure, competitive salary, free lunch, knowledge team and stocked fridge.

Cons

Team lunch felt mandatory and created an environment where you felt uneasy taking a full lunch break or ever stepping outside for air. Hours were a suggestion, work life balance was minimal.
