Pros
Current staff in shops that I have met are lovely
Cons
There is no communication between higher up management and shop staff. Higher up management and Head office have no respect for shop staff. Have done too many 12 and 13 hour shifts solo. Head office staff have no idea how a shop works and will come in and give stupid suggestions on how the shop should be run. And you'll have to run with it because they don't know the definition of the word "suggestion". Bet clearance takes too long to get back to you. Security are useless, good luck if you want to feel safe while at work cause they don't have your back. Everytime the system is updated, something that used to work no longer does. The retail help desk is the most fustrating team team to get an answer out of, most of the time they don't believe that there is a problem and you have just been to lazy to search it in their crap system. Staff hired after April 2021 no longer get a Christmas Bonus. There's no training other than the 2 days you get at the very start of your career. If you agree to do over the phone, you are expected to take abuse, no one will get barred over the phone so you'll just have to deal with customers saying the most awful things to you and be okay.
