Interesting work, however untrustworthy and arrogant senior management (some of, not all) - Technology and Operations Flylogix Employee Review

Pros

Interesting, exciting, and varied work. Exciting drone / UAS missions in open airspace. Working with a very clever and motivated team (pre-redundancy programme).

Cons

Underdeliver and overpromise to both staff and customers. Lack of listening to their experts with many combined years of experience in UAS and technology; causes numerous mistakes, rushed work, and wrong decisions. Do not learn and admit to mistakes and issues. This lack of reflection means repeated issues and do not want to hear improvement points, seen as being hostile and resistant rather than positive change. Senior management numbers are top-heavy post-redundancy programme (October 22), also causing even lower staff motivation and overwork. Risk management and scheduling work are constantly unrealistic and not aligned with the team. Missing deadlines is constant but always ignored when it suits, and aggressively pursued when it does not. Lack of promotion opportunities for existing staff.

Pros

Fantastic workplace with a genuinely supportive and collaborative culture. Leadership is transparent, approachable, and truly invested in employee growth and well-being. There are plenty of opportunities to learn, take on meaningful challenges, and make a real impact. The team is talented, motivated, and always willing to help each other succeed. Great work-life balance, strong values, and a positive environment that makes coming to work enjoyable every day.

Cons

Frequent travel and time away from home can be challenging, but it’s balanced by the meaningful nature of the work and the sense that what you’re doing truly makes a difference.
