Pros
- Informal environment - friendly people - good work-life balance - scaling challenges - company trusts employees - nice monthly events organised regularly - multiple languages adopted (golang, php, js, typescript)
Cons
- technical vision is not clear/missing - no enthusiasm or excitement about tech form the engineering teams - lots of projects started and left in a POC state are then productionised without iteration, reason being the above point - technical debt with few and sometimes confusing plans to reduce it - the focus is on closing deals/contracts with customers rather than on product, which leads in building ad hoc solutions making very hard to understand where the business should allocate resources - no plans for performance/salary review - projects are mostly blocked by external client bureaucratic issues, which delays market acquisition
