I left Focus Camera few years ago after working for about five years. Most part of my experience have been reflected in the negative reviews. I also heard similar stories from people who worked there since 80's. it seems to me they grew on the business side, not on the human side.
Not sure how it is now, when i was there, we(even non Jews) were not allowed to bring lunch during Passover. They used to send emails asking everyone to remove any food/snacks that is not Passover Kosher. I was one of the persons working late and witnessed someone actually going through everyone's drawer to discard snacks. Even if you are not a Jew, you have to abide by the Jewish law when you work there.
Manager calls employees in his room for what he calls is a meeting. But only thing he does is yelling at them. He makes others feel small. I have seen so many hard working people (Jewish and non-Jewish) left getting tired of them.
My negative review is NOT towards the Jewish people or religion, it is ONLY towards the "Father in law - Son in law" management who is not familiar with the word R E S P E C T.
