Pros

Amazing, professional people who care about the company and the product. All engineers are senior and carefully selected, creating an efficient work environment. Everyone works hard, motivating and helping each other. The code is of excellent quality, teams are professionally managed, decisions are well-documented, and there are appropriate processes in place. I could trust people to deliver what they promised, as everyone was accountable for their product. I learned a lot about how good a workplace can be.

Cons

The management made poor decisions by scaling the company too rapidly, relying solely on funding. This resulted in multiple unfinished products that never had a chance to generate revenue. Consequently, the company was forced to lay off many valuable employees. The most troubling aspect is that they intentionally hired people with families to maintain low turnover, and now these families are struggling. Unfortunately the management blamed its employees for its poor financial performance, leaving staff feeling that their efforts were unappreciated. The way the layoffs were handled was also poor. Regardless of how hard you worked or what value you brought to the company, they just pick you arbitrarily and you’re gone.

Pros

Seriously some of the smartest and nicest people I have ever had the opportunity to work with. Great culture and the technology is the real deal so it's nice to be able to position solutions to clients you know you can deliver.

Cons

UK headquartered company that is still growing in the US. Target market is large banks who can be slow to move

Pros

Colleagues are incredibly intelligent and motivated, but their efforts are consistently undermined by a lack of support from management.

Cons

Recent layoffs were handled poorly, with no regard for the individuals affected. I was laid off and my manager never even spoke to me to say goodbye. In fact, management doesn't inform anyone when someone is let go, so you usually only find out when someone's account is deactivated. The CEO appears out of their depth and lacks a clear vision for the company. This created an atmosphere of uncertainty and fear. While the work itself was engaging, the toxic culture ultimately outweighs any positives.
